Spirulina contributes to the reduction of tiredness and naturally contains high amounts of vegan protein (54%), vitamin K, vitamin B12 and important antioxidants like vitamin A (ß-carotene).
Additionally, Spirulina contains minerals like iron and magnesium which contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 is especially important for vegans and vegetarians as just small amounts of this nutrient can be provided through a plant-based diet. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
